As the business has grown over the last year so has the demand for our home grown plants. To enable us to meet this demand and continue growing our plants to the highest standards we have invested heavily in the last year in the most modern growing equipment. This allows us to be at the cutting edge of the most modern growing techniques.
We grow our own plants, unlike most other internet and mail order companies, at our nursery on the beautiful floral island of Jersey. Our nursery is called Sion Hall Farm and has a warm southerly aspect. This means that we can grow our plants a little more naturally than most growers and reduce our impact on the environment.
This year we also have a few new faces that have recently joined. Firstly we welcome David Scott. David, who has come on board as a Director, has many years experience designing and developing IT business systems and solutions for high profile clients, most recently specialising in e-commerce. Secondly, I welcome Darren Parker. Darren has extensive horticultural knowledge and experience of high volume plant mail order, gained from his previous role as Nursery Manager for Flying Brands, specifically the Gardening Direct brand. Add this background to my own and I am very confident that we have an incredibly strong team in place to ensure that your plants and other purchases from us are treated with care and attention all the way through the order process.
