1) Plant shallots and onion sets
2) Protect new spring shoots from slugs
3) Plant summer bulbs
4) Lift and divide overgrown perennials
5) Dress containers with fresh compost
6) Mow the lawn on dry days
7) Cut back dogwood and Salix
8) Deal with weeds
9) Start feeding fish and using the pond fountain; remove pond heaters
10) Open the greenhouse or conservatory doors and vents on warm days

Talk about wet and windy, with more cold weather and wintry showers on the way though there is hope that temperatures may be starting to rise the weather continues to be a major influence on the mild mannered gardener.
